At the heart of Faith Works In Motion is its founder, Teresa Edge, who created the organization from a place of deep personal experience and professional purpose.

Her journey began with a long career in healthcare and community service, where she supported seniors, veterans, individuals with developmental disabilities, and their dedicated caregivers. It was there she saw a painful gap in the system: the very families giving so much of themselves were often left feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsupported.

The struggles of families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder particularly resonated with her. Having witnessed the fear, burnout, and exhaustion of parents trying to navigate a complicated system, she was moved to act. Teresa founded Faith Works In Motion to stand in that gap, offering the guidance, hope, and practical support needed to ensure no one has to walk their path alone.

For Teresa, this is more than a nonprofit—it’s a calling, built on the conviction that faith is active. It moves, serves, and uplifts, which is the core mission of Faith Works In Motion.
